Fountain Hills Unified School District board to discuss food policy, fees and more

The Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board will meet tonight, Sept. 2, to consider several policy and financial items, including extracurricular fees, food and beverage policies and the district’s proposed position on state education issues.

The board will consider an update to its 2026-27 extracurricular fees and vote on the Arizona School Boards Association’s proposed 2027 Political Agenda. It also will consider personnel actions, payroll and accounts payable vouchers, donations and a community advisory committee.

The board also is scheduled to receive updates on student enrollment, current events and a student trip to Europe over spring break. Future action items include a Synergy system update, the district’s bring-your-own-device policy, potentially paying off the district’s outstanding bond and a possible board retreat.
