FHUSD has been awarded the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting for its Annual Comprehensive Report for the 2022-2023 fiscal year.
The Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting is awarded by ASBO to school districts that meet its rigorous standards, highlighting their commitment to transparency and excellence in financial practices, according to an announcement during the Oct. 1 meeting of the FHUSD Governing Board.
“The award from ASBO is in large part based on financial transparency,” said Chris Hartmann, director of Finance and Support Services, during the meeting.
