Fountain Hills veteran takes honor flight with son

The Honor Flight crew flew out on the “Freedom One” Southwest airplane carrying two Korean War veterans and 28 Vietnam-era veterans and a support team of Honor Flight volunteers, medics and guardians who paid their own way to provide support.
Veterans and their guardians received a send off and snacks at the airport from the Four Peaks Chapter NSDSAR.

The Honor Flight was April 23-25 and flew out of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.
