All three Veterans Service Organizations in Fountain Hills are teaming up to hold a joint ceremony to commemorate memorial day.
The ceremony, a joint effort between Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7507, American Legion Post 58 and Marine Corps League Detachment 1439, will begin at 9 a.m. on May 25 at the Fountain Hills Veterans Memorial, 17166 El Lago Blvd.
As the leading organization for the ceremony switches each year, this year’s leader will be the Marine Corps League. The event will feature three speakers. The American Legion will provide the color guard and VFW will supply chairs and the audio system.
