The Fountain Hills High School Booster Club accepts a $450 donation from VFW Post 7507 Commander Don Hervey for its volunteerism during the Spring Fountain Festival of Fine Arts and Crafts.

The VFW Post 7507 presented a check to the Fountain Hills High School Booster Club as a “thank you” for volunteering to assist the Post during the beer garden teardown session at the Spring Fountain Festival of Fine Arts and Crafts.
According to a press release, the students’ assistance made a big impact as to how fast the Post members were able to clean up and tear-down equipment and return it to the Post for safe keeping and storage until the next festival in the fall.
A total of $450 was donated to the Booster Club.

The VFW Post 7507 presented a check to the Fountain Hills High School Booster Club as a “thank you” for volunteering to assist the Post during the beer garden teardown session at the Spring Fountain Festival of Fine Arts and Crafts.
According to a press release, the students’ assistance made a big impact as to how fast the Post members were able to clean up and tear-down equipment and return it to the Post for safe keeping and storage until the next festival in the fall.
A total of $450 was donated to the Booster Club.
After packing everything up, students also helped unload the equipment at the Post. With the help of the students, the VFW was able to finish the job before dark.
According to the release, young adults and local veterans working together is wonderful to see in action and the FHHS Booster Club students are now a large part of helping local veterans.
