Dick Juetten made his way into the Fountain Hills Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7507 the morning of Oct. 9 to a standing ovation.

From members of the post, family and Mayor Gerry Friedel, it was a celebration few receive; reaching 100 years of age.

Juetten, who served with the United States Air Force, was active in the Korean War where he flew 76 daytime and 14 night solo combat missions. Often called the forgotten war, Juetten wasn’t forgotten on his day.
