Local women engage in adopt-a-family program
Christmas gifts, food baskets, gas, food cards and Christmas trees will be given to 65 families in the adopt-a-family program for the CCN Holiday Surprises program.

Approximately 16 Fountain Hills women attended the wrapping party and luncheon for Children’s Cancer Network (CCN) at the home of Judy Crosby, Tuesday, Nov. 26.
The women previously shopped for gifts for a family of six who are part of the 65 families in the adopt-a-family program for the CCN Holiday Surprises program.
CCN receives recommendations for the families who are in greatest need from the social workers at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Banner Desert Hospital, Banner Thunderbird Hospital and Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, according to a press release.

A total of 16 Fountain Hills women held a wrapping party and luncheon in support of the Children’s Cancer Network.
Approximately 16 Fountain Hills women attended the wrapping party and luncheon for Children’s Cancer Network (CCN) at the home of Judy Crosby, Tuesday, Nov. 26.
The women previously shopped for gifts for a family of six who are part of the 65 families in the adopt-a-family program for the CCN Holiday Surprises program.
CCN receives recommendations for the families who are in greatest need from the social workers at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Banner Desert Hospital, Banner Thunderbird Hospital and Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, according to a press release.
Another 18 Fountain Hills women participated in the Christmas tree decorating at CCN in Chandler on Dec. 3.
The trees will be given to the 65 families in the adopt-a-family program along with Christmas gifts, food baskets, a needs bin, gas and food cards.
CCN is a 501c(3) organization that support families in Arizona who are dealing with childhood cancer. Mary Kay Flynn and Judy Crosby of Fountain Hills coordinated the projects.
