The Fountain Hills Women’s Club will hold its next monthly luncheon meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at the Fountain Hills Community Center.

Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m. with lunch starting at 12 noon.

Fountain Hills resident David Nelson will be speaking about the 250th anniversary of the United States Marine Corps. The former Marine Corps League commandant has been coordinating the local Toys 4 Tots program for the last several years, with many of the collected toys distributed to Fountain Hills schools.

At the luncheon, there will be a Toys 4 Tots collection box available for those who would like to bring a new, unwrapped toy for a child aged 5 to 12 years old.

The cost of the luncheon is $30 for members and guests, paid by cash or check made payable to FHCCA. RSVP by Friday, Nov. 14, to Carol Goyena at carolgoyena@gmail.com or by calling 480-825-1084.

Holiday Tea

The Fountain Hills Women’s Club will also be hosting its Annual Holiday Tea at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Crowning Glory Tea Room, 16733 E. Palisades Boulevard, Unit 101.

Members are invited to a three-course assortment of savories, handmade sweets and teas. Family and friends are welcome. The cost is $65 per person. Attendees should register by mailing a check, payable to FHCCA, to Ruby Moreno, 17025 E. La Montana Drive, Unit 119, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268, or bring cash or check to the Fountain Hills Women’s Club luncheon meeting on Nov. 17 at the Community Center.
