The Fountain Hills Women’s Club has recently announced that it has funds available for scholarship grants for women.

The club is soliciting qualified candidates and accepting applications for the grants through April 12, 2024.

The applicant must be a woman who resides or is employed in Fountain Hills and who possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, according to a press release.

The applicant must be at least 23 years of age and should desire to further her career goals through the pursuit of additional education, training or professional certifications.

The Fountain Hills Women’s Club sponsors a fashion show each spring to help fund the scholarships with many community businesses donating to the annual fundraiser, the release said.

According to the press release, the Fountain Hills Women’s Club Scholarship Committee feels this is an excellent opportunity for women to re-enter the workforce or to advance themselves by continuing their education or obtaining additional training or certifications.

All applications must be received by April 12, 2024, to be considered for the grant.
