The Fountain Hills Women’s Club (FHWC) continues to support local nonprofit organizations at its Nov. 20 meeting.
Allyson Iverson, the granddaughter of Pastor David Iverson of Extended Hands Food Bank, will present a program about the food bank including its history, purpose and current need.
All who attend are asked to bring a bag of non-perishable items to donate.

The Fountain Hills Women’s Club (FHWC) continues to support local nonprofit organizations at its Nov. 20 meeting.
Allyson Iverson, the granddaughter of Pastor David Iverson of Extended Hands Food Bank, will present a program about the food bank including its history, purpose and current need.
All who attend are asked to bring a bag of non-perishable items to donate.
Reservations can be made by contacting Carol Goyena at carolgoyena@gmail.com by Friday, Nov. 15.
The cost to attend is $25.
Anyone interested in learning more about Extended Hands Food Bank or other local organizations is invited to make a reservation.
The club will celebrate the season with a special holiday tea at Crowning Glory Tea Room Saturday, Dec. 7, at 11 a.m.
The cost is $50 and tickets will be available at the November meeting.
Also, the club’s fundraiser will be held on March 1, 2025, at We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort.
Plans are in full swing for “Boots and Bangles,” the theme of the fundraiser, which will include western music, storytelling, a fashion show and other entertainment to be announced.
