Senior Tyler Langer became the second Falcon to win his 100th career wrestling match this season at the Coolidge Lions Club Boys Invitational Friday, Jan. 5, and Saturday, Jan. 6.
Senior Tyler Flynn won his 100th match earlier this season, and both boys are leading the Fountain Hills High School wrestling team by example this year.
“I knew I was somewhere within reach coming into this season, but once Flynn got his 100th, I actually counted and anticipated it happening this tournament,” Langer said. “100 wins is something I’ve thought of since freshman year, and it’s awesome to me to see how all the work throughout these four years comes together to reach my goal.”
