In the time since the completion of its base pedestal on the Avenue of the Fountains in front of Town Hall, a lot of people have been wondering about the installation of the 40-plus-foot steel and glass sculpture, Fountain of Light.
The Times Independent made contact with the artist, Fountain Hills resident Brian Schader, earlier this month and he provided a memo he sent to arts community supporters several weeks ago.
Schader said that since the completion of the pedestal the ball has been in his court. He said he is currently working alone and there is still much to be done on the large project.
