Fountain Park

I’m not complainin,’ just trusting that the town’s Director of Community Services, Mark Mayer, does not believe The Times’ online poll results. We don’t know how many people responded to the question, “Is Fountain Park adequately maintained?” The results were 63 percent yes and 37 percent no.

In April, I communicated with Mark Mayer many of Fountain Park’s maintenance issues needing attention. To date they have not been resolved.

Just a few were: Very rusty and unsanitary BBQs; very rusty metal dog bag holders; amphitheater’s excessive calcium build-up; rusty and falling apart garbage cans.

In addition there has been a broken water pipe under one of the ramada’s concrete slab that has been leaking for six-plus weeks.

Not complainin,’ just observin’.
