The Community Services Department at the Town of Fountain Hills has announced that Fountain Park will be closed during the month of October to allow for overseeding of the turf areas with winter grass.
The additional irrigation for the new grass will require sprinklers to operate at irregular times during daylight hours. Since the park is irrigated with treated waste water the public is asked to stay out of the park during irrigation.
Also, there should be no activity in turf areas during the overseed process.

Fountain Park closing for overseed

The Community Services Department at the Town of Fountain Hills has announced that Fountain Park will be closed during the month of October to allow for overseeding of the turf areas with winter grass.
The additional irrigation for the new grass will require sprinklers to operate at irregular times during daylight hours. Since the park is irrigated with treated waste water the public is asked to stay out of the park during irrigation.

The closure is effective from Monday, Sept. 30, through Thursday, Oct. 31.
