Fountain View Village Patriots visited by son of WWII vet

The Fountain View Village Patriots were visited by a son of a World War II veteran at their recent meeting.

Dave Hagen spoke to club members on Nov. 3, according to a press release by club president Bruce Frobes. Hagen’s parent’s, Arlyn and Thelma, were part of the “Greatest Generation” during WWII, with his father Arlyn serving in the Normandy Landing, the Liberation of Paris, the Battle of the Bulge, the Remagen Bridge, as well as Post VE-DAY Occupation.

Hagen also told club members that his mother had saved all of his father’s letters from the front line, which he showed to members at the meeting.
