Fountain Hills mentor program needs volunteers, donations

Kim Danielski said one of her mentees, when they first started meeting, didn’t even want anyone to see them showing up for the appointment.

A year later, she said, that student was telling others about the program.

That program is the Fountain Hills Golden Eagle Education Foundation’s mentorship program. Now in its fourth decade of adults helping Fountain Hills K-12 students, the program survived the pandemic and many other obstacles and still aids people in getting through what can be some rough years.
