Four musical acts at Fountain Park
Rock Lobster
Posted
The town will sponsor an evening of free music featuring four musical acts, each with its own style and genre, on Saturday, April 1, in Fountain Park.
From electrified strings to country flair, the music festival will provide something for everyone’s taste.
Food truck dining options from Queso Good, Loca Popa and Cir le R Farms will be available. Water and Ice also will serve kettle corn and shaved ice.
Performances will begin at 4 p.m. with Western Fusion, a group formed in the late 90s by Brian Childress. His goal was to create a band that sounded like radio and be composed of some of the best musicians Arizona had to offer.
Between 5:15 and 6:15 p.m., Rock Lobster will perform. The band has been popular for nearly two decades.
Nashville recording artist and Cave Creek resident, Ryan Sims, will take the stage at 6:30 p.m. He is the lead singer and guitarist for a new band, formerly Easton Ashe. He also has embarked upon a solo career with the release of his rock-infused country album.
The Urban Electra electric string quartet will play classical rock, alternative rock, pop, club music and cutting-edge electronic music from 7:45 to 9 p.m.
