Four Peaks Coin Club enters 20th year in Fountain Hills

Father-son members win Volunteer of the Year award

The Four Peaks Coin Club is marking a major milestone in Fountain Hills as members celebrate 20 years of community, education and a shared passion for numismatics — the study and collection of coins and currency.

The group held its first meeting in January 2007 and will officially begin its 20th year in January 2026, according to Club President John Gibson.

Gibson says the club draws collectors from across the Valley, including Fountain Hills, Scottsdale, Mesa and Phoenix.
