In the heart of one of Fountain Hills’ most intimate neighborhoods, Four Peaks Park is a 15-acre active recreation area.
It originated as an area to meet the needs of Four Peaks Elementary School. After incorporation the town took over and expanded the facilities to meet the recreation needs of a growing family neighborhood and town.
The School District has since closed the elementary school, but the park facilities remain and meet the needs of the adjacent Boys & Girls Club besides the community.

When the town expanded the park it found a need to connect the newly-improved north section with the existing facilities that served the school. A 100-foot steel pedestrian bridge was installed to traverse a deep and lush Caliente Wash that bisects the park property.
The wash remains a wildlife corridor and home to a variety of bird species, which enhance the park environment.
On the north side a 100-foot by 300-foot soccer field was constructed with lighting and spectator seating. The field is circled by a concrete walkway providing an exercise venue for nearby residents.
Also on the north side off Del Cambre Avenue a 750-square-foot restroom and control building was constructed for the convenience of park users. Nearby across the parking lot is the Mesquite Ramada with two picnic tables, two additional tables to accommodate handicapped users and a large barbecue.
On the south side of the wash there are two multipurpose ball fields that have long served the community for Little League and adult softball league play and practices. Those fields have been upgraded with new lighting.
At the rear of the former school building there are two basketball courts and on the far west side of the site there are two tennis courts with a parking lot for additional cars.
Along the south edge of the park between the elementary school building and the Boys & Girls Club are two playground sites with equipment designed for age appropriate use.
Four Peaks Park has operating hours from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Pets are not permitted without a leash. Specific facilities such as the picnic ramada, playing fields and tennis courts may be reserved by contacting the Community Services Department at 480-816-5100 to obtain a use permit.
