Four Peaks Rotary welcomes Reagan

Arizona Secretary of State Michele Reagan outlined the responsibilities of her office at a recent meeting of Four Peaks Rotary Club.
Reagan said functions of her office include trade names and trademarks; notary; campaign finance and reporting; the Arizona official archive of historic documents and items; address confidentiality program; the state library archives and online duties.

Reagan answered questions about mail-in ballots and polling place voting. She also clarified that the county determines the polling places.
Member Bill Beamish announced the upcoming arrival of the Rotary Club’s foreign exchange student. The student is from Austria. Following the meeting, Beamish hosted a meeting to orient members of both Fountain Hills Rotary Clubs on the process and security involved in youth exchange.
Four Peaks Rotary Club meets next on Thursday, Aug. 9, at 6:45 a.m. Guest speaker is Dr. Bill Myhr, director of the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation Education Division. He will share information about the sovereign Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation.
