Prop 429 changes the term for mayor from the current two years to four years. This would allow more time for the groundwork done on issues in the first two years to be implemented without the time- and money-consuming distraction of an election. The office of mayor is filled at the will of the town residents and will still be subject to change by that same will.

Vote yes on Prop 429 (if you haven’t already voted).
