Frank Pycha III, 74, went to rest May 22, 2013 at 10:58 p.m. He was a Fountain Hills resident for 16 years.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean of Fountain Hills; sons, Frank IV (Marilyn), granddaughter, Jasmine (China), Lewis (Glenda), grandson, Anton (Portland, Ore.), John (Cheryl) (Omaha, Neb.); step-granddaughter, Heather Pycha (Green Bay, Wis.); brother, John A (Abby) Pycha (Tumwater, Wash.); niece, Katherine (Michael) Behnen; nephew, Ian Hundtofte; uncle, Clayton (Evelyn) Snider (Omaha, Neb.); cousins, Warren and Wes Snider (Omaha, Neb.), Caroline Poole (Phoenix), Marilyn Knauber (Littleton, Colo.), Vicki Frus (Des Moines, Iowa), Rita Timperly (Bennington, Neb.)

He was preceded in death by grandson Frank Pycha V; parents, Frank II and Romola Pycha.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Arizona Paralyzed Veterans of America.

A memorial will be held on Thursday, May 30, at Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Memorials are requested to the veterans, educational, or disability group of donor’s choice.
