Franklin: Rejecting the intersection improvements was unconscionable
Anyone and everyone living in the northwest quarter of our town almost certainly has to use the intersection at Palisades and Fountain Hills Boulevards to reach the downtown business section. Regardless of the time of day or day of the business week, you can count on lines of cars stacked up in every direction.
It seems unconscionable to me that Town Council would reject a sensible proposal to improve that 50-year-old intersection to the benefit of our business community and residents. I certainly hope Justin and Robin can find a way to get the issue back on the agenda again for reasonable resolution.
