Why is our society so polarized that it prohibits open honest discussions? Why the scare tactics, misleading references, flat out lies, superior attitude, unkept promises, etc.? Do you ever have the feeling that “political correctness” has run amuck?

Has it come down to Democracy versus Socialism (leaning Fascist)? There is even a sizable group that doesn’t care or want to be bothered to think about it. It began around 1913 when the philosophy of intimate group superiority entered the Executive Branch of government. This belief in government dominance over its citizens was not seriously challenged or discussed in the public arena. Socialism became a player in the U.S.

Some colleges have incorporated progressive education without incurring social evaluation (parents included). Colleges provide a safe haven for self-labeled “intellectuals” to hide and indoctrinate. Educators are major contributors to the “Progressive Elite.” Why do we continue to forfeit our progeny? If our children don’t have a chance how can our nation’s future have a chance?

The media has an unlimited platform to the populace and is at the forefront of obscuring the truth without which Socialism cannot survive. Citizens who won’t discern fact from fiction or apply basic common sense are exposed to being manipulated through ignorance and malaise.

Confronting a three- headed serpent (education, government, media) seems a daunting spectacle to overcome.

I believe we were born free with a free will to decide for ourselves. And I want that freedom back.

Alexis de Tocqueville stated: “Democracy and Socialism have nothing in common but one word, equality.

“But notice the difference: While Democracy seeks equality in liberty, Socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude.”

Why would an educated, free, wealthy people ever think another form of government, which requires you to give up your liberty, would be better?
