Recently I had the opportunity to meet Daria Lohman during an informal gathering in our town. She is running for the position of Arizona State Senator.

As a newcomer to the political scene, she brings fresh ideas. I was impressed to learn of her military service, her analytical training background and her engineering accomplishments. I witnessed a sincere individual discussing viable plans to improve our state’s failing infrastructure. She demonstrated a strong understanding of the key issues and communicated new insight to the current problems we encounter at state levels.

With affordable healthcare and appropriate public education for all, our state will more readily attract new people to Arizona and be positioned for employment opportunities in the sorely needed area of infrastructure. Additional tax revenues from the businesses can provide the funding needed for the rebuilding of our failing infrastructure, as job opportunities increase getting Arizona back on track.
