October 26 is the last day registered voters can request a ballot by mail for the upcoming 2018 General Election. Voters must submit their requests by 5 p.m.

Voters who have completed their ballots can mail them back, or drop them off at any voting location. A list of Vote Centers, and their hours of operation are available at www.Locations.Maricopa.Vote.

If Maricopa County residents have not already requested their early ballot, they can do so at www.Request.Maricopa.Vote.

"Giving voters extra time to research and get to know candidates is extremely important. The ease of the ballot coming right to the doorstep of voters eliminates the stress of live polling, which creates a more positive experience," Recorder Adrian Fontes said.

Voters who requested a ballot by mail, but did not receive one within two to five business days can call (602)506-1511. They can also email EVReq@Risc.Maricopa.Gov. To verify their identity, they must include their full name, address and date of birth within the email.

Early voters will be able to track their ballot by texting "Join" to 628-683. They will get notifications when their ballot is mailed, received, verified and sent to be counted.
