The Fountain Hills Friends of the Library has started its 2017 membership drive.
Membership forms are available in the book shop or on the group’s website, fhfl.net. Individual memberships are $15, and family memberships are $25. A library card is separate from a Friends’ membership.
Library Friends sponsor activities including books for the homebound, a semi-annual document shredding event, front porch performances and book clubs, author series, resale book shop, computers, office equipment, telescopes, scholarships for qualifying Fountain Hills High School seniors, summer reading programs, teen council events and programs and regular, recurring children’s programs.
