As chairman of “The Full Monty” picketers, mostly women, I want to thank our loyal band of sign holders. Also, much appreciation for the host of Prayer Warriors concerned for our safety.
Some of the choice names we were called by the “pro-play” residents were less than I would have expected from a supposedly upper echelon town.

There have been many pro and con letters to The Fountain Hills Times’ opinion pages during the play’s run.
Last week’s letter from Patty Torrilhon spoke about the acceptance of “diversity and freedom of expression” (my underscoring).
The wording was especially interesting in light of a recently published public prayer. Billy Graham, well-known evangelist, although a frail 93 year old, is still sound of mind. He is troubled about the downward spiraling of our nation.
Here is part of his prayer: “We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography, calling it freedom of expression.”
