Last week I attended the first in a series of Thursday Theater programs on the patio at the River of Time Museum.
Entertainer Mark Fogelson charmed the audience with his guitar playing and folk songs and plenty of jokes thrown in. Mark is no amateur, having performed all over the Valley and in his home state of Minnesota.
Several people bought their lunch to enjoy as they listened, sang along and laughed. Others bought a box lunch on the patio with all the sides supplied by Phil’s Filling Station.

The weather was perfect and being able to sit out and enjoy it was an added pleasure after experiencing the many rain fronts that have been passing through the Valley lately.
This Thursday the program is also free to the public! “Cowboy Poetry” featuring Dick and Jane Morton will take place at the same place, hopefully the same beautiful weather, and food if you want to purchase it. Seating is limited so email coordinator@riveroftimemuseum or call the museum at 837-2612 to reserve a spot (and lunch if you want it for $6) no later than today, March 11. You won’t be disappointed.
