The McDowell Mountain Elementary student participated in the Fountain Hills Cinderella Pageant and received two awards – one for Tot Personality and one for Most Photogenic for her age division.
She will be competing for the 2015 Arizona Princess division for NAM on July 17-18 in Scottsdale.
NAM is a pageant that focuses not on beauty, but more on poise, disposition and personality. The group focuses on public speaking and giving girls the confidence needed to better their lives.
Mom Traci is conducting a fundraiser for Camryn on Saturday, May 23, at the Kiwanis Activity Center to raise money for her scholarship and to help her become the state ambassador.
If she raises enough money in her campaign Camryn can win college scholarships and make it to the finals as the state ambassador.
The family will be selling garage sale type items and doing a bake sale as well.
All donations will go to help sponsor Camryn in her quest for winning state.
The fundraiser will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kiwanis building, which is located on Kiwanis Drive south of Fountain Park (off El Lago Blvd. near the Veterans Memorial).
