I would like to thank Dr. Jyoti Patel for organizing and heading up the cause to create a community garden here in our beautiful town. I would also like to thank the town council for recently voting in favor of this great cause and allowing the garden to be located near our town library.

It’s wonderful to see so many people get behind the idea of being able to grow healthy, organic fruits and vegetables here in the desert. We look forward to learning more from knowledgeable master gardeners on how to successfully do this.

This is a grass roots effort requiring many volunteers and donations, as this is what will make our community garden grow! Anyone interested in learning more, on either how to go about volunteering or how to donate, can go to this website: fhculturalcivic.org.
