The Golden Eagle Education Foundation is kicking into full gear this month by planning year-long events and activities to benefit students and staff in Fountain Hills.

The Golden Eagle Education Foundation has supported local schools for more than 20 years through scholarships to higher learning institutions, classroom projects, the Mentor Program and outstanding staff awards.

The GEEF is a non-profit partnership made up of parents, business members, and supportive community members from all walks of life who are committed to enhancing and enriching the education of students in Fountain Hills, Fort McDowell Yvapai Nation and the Verde River communities.

Students reap rewards through scholarships, mentoring, and creative and innovative classroom projects. Staff members also benefit from recognition.

As a parent recently remarked, “One need only to attend the annual Senior Recognition Night held in May to see the amazing job this small, but mighty group does.”

Golden Eagle Education Foundation volunteers go through a myriad of student applications to select the most deserving applicants who will be granted the various scholarships on behalf of their contributors. The Foundation also supports classroom projects and the Mentoring Program.

In one way or another, the GEEF has touched thousands of students, parents and teachers over the years.

Organizers urge the community to support the Golden Eagle Education Foundation by joining, supporting and getting behind the endeavor.

For further information, email info@fhgeef.org or call Sandy Davis at 602-920-0505. Donations may also be made out to the Golden Eagle Education Foundation and mailed to PO Box 17113, Fountain Hills, AZ 85269.
