Gene Laluk, a beloved member of the Fountain Hills community, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2026, surrounded by love. Gene was more than a resident of Fountain Hills – he was a familiar and trusted face to so many. As a pharmacist in town, he served his community with care, integrity, and genuine compassion. For Gene, his work was never just about prescriptions; it was about people. He took the time to listen, to explain, and to make sure everyone who walked through the door felt cared for and respected. Outside of his work, Gene loved the simple things in life. He cherished time with his dog, Annie. He enjoyed classic cars, dirt bikes, estate sales, and a good game of cornhole, and he had a deep love for music, whether he was making it or simply listening. Gene also loved watching football and basketball and sharing TikTok and Instagram videos with everyone he knew. These everyday joys were where Gene found his happiness. He is survived by his beloved wife, Tama Laluk; his children, Andy, Jeannette, Peter, and Kristin Laluk; and his siblings, Michael Laluk, George Laluk, and Cathy Bocian, who will forever hold him close in their hearts. Gene Laluk will be deeply missed by the Fountain Hills community and all who had the joy of knowing him. His warmth, humor, and generosity will be remembered always.
