The genealogy meeting gets underway at 9 a.m. with announcements, questions and comments. Members will gather at the Community Center. Treats, coffee and tea will be available.
The group interaction portion of the day will feature treasures to share and relate the story of the item to the group.

Genealogists to share family treasures

Members of the Fountain Hills chapter of the Family History Society of Arizona (FHSA) will bring family treasures to the next meeting set for Monday, Dec. 11.
The genealogy meeting gets underway at 9 a.m. with announcements, questions and comments. Members will gather at the Community Center. Treats, coffee and tea will be available.
The group interaction portion of the day will feature treasures to share and relate the story of the item to the group.
Additionally, the special interest groups will be introduced. Small groups will discuss DNA, writing, skills development and technology.
The Fountain Hills Chapter of the FHSA meets the second Monday of the month from September through May.
Everyone is invited to attend and mentors are happy to assist beginners in family research. Bring questions about how to begin, understand findings, genealogy programs, hitting a brick wall. If there is not enough time during the meeting members will stay after to help with concerns.
Following the meeting members meet at a local restaurant. All attendees are invited to the no-host lunch.
