George Burca

George Burca, 75, went to be with the Lord Jesus on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014.

He was born on July 27, 1938 in Comanesti, Romania. He and his wife Elena moved to Chicago, Ill. Feb. 14, 1989 and they have been residents of Fountain Hills since 2002.

He was a beloved father of Marianne Bucur and her husband, John, and Adriana Tate and her husband, Todd. He was a loving grandfather of Matthew Bucur and his wife Natalie and Joshua Bucur and his wife Nicole.

He was married to Elena, the love of his life for 56 years, and he was a journeyman machinist and he worked in many countries as well. He loved to fix things for us and did a few prototypes in the medical field machineries. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11, beginning at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary, 12065 N. Saguaro Blvd. Interment will be at Paradise Memorial Gardens where he will be laid to rest, at 92nd Street and Shea in Scottsdale. A celebration of life will be held with refreshments and fellowship at the Holiday Inn of Fountain Hills beginning at 1 p.m.
