Mayor Gerry Friedel comes into office with a 100-day plan to initiate priorities for his tenure.
Near the top of that list is to meet with the town manager and finance team to consider reprioritizing available options for road repairs and street maintenance. Friedel said when he took office as a councilmember he wanted to have one major street each fiscal year for repaving added to the Capital Improvement budget along with other neighborhood streets for maintenance.
He suggests looking at fiscal options for funding to enhance the Streets Fund.
