Fountain Hills Artists Gallery is sponsoring three art workshops in June.
No experience is necessary and all supplies are included with the workshop fee.
“Southwest Memories” will be a two-day workshop taught by Ruth Stewart. Students will learn to use water miscible oils to paint on a 20x20-inch gallery wrapped canvas.
The class will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, and Monday, June 11. The cost is $120.
If participants bring their own paint brushes, Stewart will reimburse them $10.
During a Monday, June 18 workshop, Nancy Grahlmann will teach painting wine glasses. The class will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. The cost is $35.
Two wine glasses are included with the fee plus an assortment of designs to choose from. The paints are dishwasher safe.
Acrylic artist Kelly Bowman will guide students on a journey of painting a colorful or realistic portrait of their pet in acrylics during a “Paint Your Pet” workshop from 3 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 25.
Participants will email her a picture of their pet in advance and she will outline the pet on a 9-inch by 12-inch canvas. The cost of the class is $56.
