Getting busy

While temperatures will remain pretty high for a while yet, there’s no denying that Fountain Hills is swinging back into action following the usual summer lull.

School is back in session and sports kick off this week with the first football game of the season Friday evening, Aug. 19, at 7 p.m. on the home field. That’s the same evening as the Back to School Bash, scheduled for a 6 p.m. start at Four Peaks Park.

Looking ahead, we’ve already got events like Oktoberfest and Ballet Under the Stars scheduled in the coming weeks, which you can read about in this week’s issue of The Times. We’ll run additional reminders leading up to all major community events, so be sure to mark your calendars and join your neighbors for all of the fun.
