Fountain Hills Girl Scouts’ annual “Round-Up” information night will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at the Sunset Kiwanis building located at 16957 Kiwanis Dr.

Parents and guardians of any girl, ages 5 to 18 years, interested in joining Girl Scouts, a non-profit organization centered on girls developing leadership skills and self-confidence, are encouraged to attend. Registration procedure, troop availability, troop activities and membership dues will be discussed at the meeting.

“There is greatness in every girl,” said neighborhood troop coordinator, Nita Blose. “Girl Scouts plant trees, collect clothes for the needy, build prayer gardens, clean camp trails and recycle plastic – whatever it takes to make her neighborhood better. Find your greatness by joining Girl Scouts!”

Blose said the Fountain Hills Girl Scouts Service Team is committed to making the dream of every girl interested in being a Girl Scout become a reality.

“With the combined efforts of volunteer Girl Scout leaders and involved parents, we can make this happen,” she added.

Those interested in joining Girl Scouts but unable to attend the Round-Up meeting should contact Nita Blose at nblose@arotechinc.com or 480-296-3101.
