Playing the reigning state champions early in the season didn’t help the Fountain Hills High School girls soccer team players much, but they’ve looked and felt much better in their recent games.
They are still searching for their first win but have limited their opponents to two goals in each of the past two games.
The Falcons lost 2-0 at Coolidge on Thursday, Dec. 7, and lost 2-1 to ALA – Ironwood at home on Wednesday, Dec. 13. Junior Sara Dethlefs scored the first goal of the season, and the Falcons are starting to find their footing offensively.
