Extended Hands is extremely thankful for the support this great community gives to us.
As tough as it is sometimes to make ends meet, especially during the summer months, so many of you are there when it is needed the most. The food donations, the cash gifts and the support of Friday night’s Jim/Bob’s Famous Fish and Chips is greatly appreciated.
Max’s Closet was able to stay open and continues to offer help and support to those in need of other things largely due to those who shop there and those who financially support the store monthly.

Also, thank you to those who stopped by our “sweet tooth” booth at the recent art fair. Our freshly made donuts, rolls, ice cream and coffee are another way for us to raise the necessary funds to serve those in need.
With the holiday season approaching, we all have so much to be thankful for. While we might not be able to feed the world, we can all make sure that no child in our town ever has to go to bed hungry or to school without an adequate breakfast.
Thanks to Principal Joanne Meehan at the local grade school for making sure that all children that need food for the weekend are sent home on Friday with a food backpack. Extended Hands helps those same families during the summer months with extra food.
When you help us, you truly become extended hands to those in need.
