Golden Age of Radio is bringing back a special Halloween broadcast to Fountain Hills.

The broadcast will begin at 1 p.m. on Oct. 1 at the Activity Center at the Fountain Hills Community Center, 13001 N. La Montana Drive, according to a press release.

The meeting will feature a Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy program that was broadcast on Halloween night, 1938, the same night that CBS broadcast Orson Welles' “Mercury Theatre On The Air” Halloween show that caused widespread panic across America.
