Golden arches tumble down

Construction crews began demolishing portions of the roof and iconic arches Wednesday at McDonald’s, corner of Saguaro and Shea Blvds. The drive-through window is closed; the lobby of the fast food restaurant remains open until a full closure becomes effective Feb. 4. The redesign will feature a second drive-through window and more interactive customer experiences.
