Goldie is a rescue dog being cared for by Rescue Pals in Fountain Hills. She recently suffered a broken leg and needs help with medical bills.

Goldie appears to be a Papillion/Italian Greyhound mix who was adopted from a Maricopa County shelter. Her new owner had her about a month but decided to return her to the pound because she was barking when alone.

Rescue Pals stepped in to become her caretaker until a new home is found. However, due to an accident, Goldie broke her leg and the vet says she will need surgery for her leg to heal properly.

Rescue Pals has set up a fundraiser to collect the $2,300 needed for surgery. Rescue Pals is a 501(c)3 non-profit so donations are tax deductible.
