Why: Children today spend less time outdoors than any other generation, so it’s imperative to find ways for them to connect with nature. This is especially important for children in underserved areas, as they have the greatest barriers to outdoor play and exploration. Camp Colley introduces underserved youth to the state’s natural wilderness and outdoor recreation.
