On Nov. 17, the VFW here in town hosted The Ralph Truax Memorial Golf Tournament. Ralph loved and devoted much of his time to assisting veterans and our post. We lost Ralph earlier this year and he is deeply missed.
On behalf of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, I want to thank all of our sponsors for the event. Your generosity allows us to assist veterans throughout the year.
Some of the veteran groups that we support are The Standown, National Military Service, Arizona Cottage, Project Healing Waters, The Honor Flight, Veterans Military Support, The Fountain Hills Veterans Memorial, Educational donations for Voice of Democracy, Patriots Pen, Teacher of the Year as well as the Boy Scouts, Public Servants and Dogs4Vets.

I also want to reach out and thank all of our golfers. Without your support we would not have a golf tournament. Thank you again for all of your support.
