Golucci: I strongly recommend a vote for Art Tolis
In response to Nancy Plencner's letter to the editor last week, there needs to be some serious corrections to her statements regarding Art Tolis’ accomplishments while on town council. Art was and is still one of the strongest advocates for our towns, long-term financial stability and focusing on growth to maintain our infrastructure and our quality of life locally.
Art Tolis, a former town council member (2016-2020), was key in supporting developments such as the 24/7 Saguaro urgent care, Adero Canyon, Copperwynd expansion and luxury properties downtown now called Pillar. He promotes Fountain Hills as the “Beverly Hills of Arizona” and aims to enhance downtown and Target plaza for financial stability and community vibrancy by focusing on our revenue model, including sales tax and state-shared revenues. Art has always been prepared for all meetings and will always make decisions on what is best for our community and residents on a non-partisan basis.
Art is a Syracuse University graduate with a Master Certificate from the University of Washington's Pacific Coast Banking School. He is a licensed realtor with 18 years of experience and has an extensive background in finance. He and his wife, Heather, own two very successful businesses in town, Tolis Mortgage Financial Group and Snap Fitness.

These attributes will serve him well on the council, and he has been recognized by previous council members as an asset and will be again once elected. Since stepping down from town council in 2020, he has focused on his family and businesses and is now ready, with your help, to focus on our town and the needs of our residents. Art has earned my vote again to serve on town council and I would ask you strongly consider voting for Mr. Art Tolis.
