I sent my first $3 payment to Florida with a letter telling this collection agency that I will pay them monthly providing, and I underlined “providing,” they send me a notice each month as the water, electric, etc. companies do.
Also I am one of the victims that received two environmental fees and recently I have read that the council that voted for this environmental fee did not intend to charge each home more than one fee.
Their intentions might have been good, still some of us are stuck with two separate bills.Remember, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
