The Town is fortunate that Don Clark became its Park Superintendent and residents should find a way tomorrow, his last day on the job, to wish him a happy journey into retirement.
Personally, I first met Don in 2009 when the Greening of Fountain Park started, and I can attest that his attitude and support never ever waivered. Even when his staff and park funds were trimmed in recent years, Don’s untiring commitment to our parks continued.
For those who knew Don, likely it was his genuine smile that you will remember, plus his willingness to take whatever time was needed to visit with you. For those who never got to know Don, you missed an opportunity to meet a truly outstanding Town employee.

Thank you, Don, for being a 20-year asset to Fountain Hills.
