Recently my car had a flat tire on Saguaro Blvd. It was 100 degrees out, and I’m a senior lady highly affected by the heat.
The auto club said they would take about one-and-a-half hours to get to me. My friend came to let me sit in her air-conditioned car and gave me cold water. Then, a wonderful lady named Melissa Nigh stopped by and said she would change my tire; that she did it all the time on her truck. As she began the job, Mark and Christine Paulsen pulled up, and Mark and Melissa both worked on changing my tire while Christine offered moral support.
Another young man, whose name I unfortunately did not get, stopped and gave us bottles of water. They had the tire changed way before the auto club was due to arrive, so I cancelled that. Fountain Hills has many caring people. My thanks to all of you for being so good to me on a hot day.
